Embryonic Inspection, invites the viewers to position themselves in the space and interact with the work as a part of the Surveillance is Conducted exhibition.
The installation was created specifically for the space at Massolit Books & Café in Budapest, Hungary. What used to be an entrance way to the building gives the current exhibition site a narrow and intimate feel that was vital for the completion of the work; where the line between the observer and the observed can be challenged.
While invading the privacy of naked bodies, embryos, and fragile forms, I invited the public to place themselves on both sides of the installation. A fragile composition itself, it provided a separating veil between the person who interacts with it and with those in the rest of the exhibition space.
